You don't always have to fork out lots of money to buy a luxury beauty product or even need tons of different ones. You can still look gorgeous even on the cheap! Here are a few bargain beauty tips that can turn household items and even leftovers into everything you need to look a million dollars. This will be my first inexpensive beauty post in a series of blog posts of budget beauty tips. I hope you find them helpful…
Baking Soda or Bicarbonate of Soda is not only handy for baking and cleaning the house but also for your hair, face, feet and teeth.
Baking soda can be used as a clarifying shampoo to help remove build up from things such as grease, chlorine, and even hair products, to give your hair a fresh start, and restore its natural shine.
Mix 2 teaspoons baking soda with a cup water and use as a final rinse after shampooing.
It can also be uses as a facial cleanser by mixing 1/2 teaspoon with your favorite cleanser for extra exfoliation (there’s no need to buy a separate scrub!). This can be used on all skin types weekly, but if you have dry skin I would advise using a rich moisturizer afterwards
In the summer shoes can get a little smelly and feet can feel a little bit uncomfortable in closed shoes. By sprinkling some baking soda into your shoes it will minimize sweat and prevent any nasty smells.
There’s no need to spend a fortune on the latest potions that claim to whiten your teeth. All you need to do is add a sprinkle of baking soda onto a damp toothbrush and brush as normal for a glistening smile.
Will you be trying out any of these? Or have any more to add? I hope you found this helpful. Look out for my next beauty budget post coming soon.
